Lights:
- Scenic lighting -> control to produce effect
                           -> accent light on something
                           -> decorative
All these three can be combined.

                           -> Kinetic : Sun, Water, Reflection, Candles, Fire, Flashing neons.

Types of Lights:

- Sparkling light
- Dappled light - filtered
These two can be combined.

- Glowing light - translucent of reflected
- Hidden light - defining space, ambient, scenic
                       - edges
-Wall washing
-Uplight / Covelight
-Day lighting

Localised light -> large area
Local light -> particular small area
Directional lighting -> a task or a surface
Diffused lighting -> come from many directions

Quality of lights depends on:
- Luminous distribution
- Direction of Light
- Visual interest
- Colours
- Visual performance : age, health, attitude
- Colour mixing (on the actor)

Six Degrees Public

SIMEON KING " Public and Private. Public and Sorting"

Idea of the street
   - Street = 80% of the public domain

- Finding Scale, mapping and sorting informations -> always looking and deciphering around you, there is always something.

"Apattern language" Christopher Alexander.

China - Urban Vitality.

TOM RIVARD "Performative Urbanism" narrative and fiction as instrument of civic engagement.

What does it mean? Reading the city.

URBANISM
-Putting things together

Event + meaning + space = Hyloridisation

- Perspectival Shift. Marginal differences.

Advertising vs. communication

City - permeable
     -> finding opportunities, the gaps that can be filled, there is always gaps never filled.

Didactic realism - the 'garden'.
Surreal territory
-> different perspectives.

Life / Vitality of the city.

Design : Inhabitation

. Thinking and Stuff

- Parti Diagram -> Show the central idea
- Parti Model
- Rhizomic Diagram
- Perspectival concept sketch / Parti Diagram
- Concept drawings
- Concept model
- Scale rule: preliminary site strategy diagram -> understand the effects and affects
- Preliminary massive model -> understand the nature of the scale discovery
- Iterative model making -> critical reflection
- Diagramatic model - define site and context boundaries
- Diagramatic model - circulation path
- Progammatic massive model -> fir the structure
- Preliminary design drawing

Synthesis and Testing

- Spectulative Diagram -> understand if solutions are good or bad
- Conceptual probe / performance
  Conceptual probe / performative inhabitation with recording device
  Conceptual probe / satellite recording device -> during a period to have infos about the site.
- Documenting the discovery
- Integrating and expanding the model

. Working on a Front

- Independant site effects diagrams
- Kinetic and Fluid modeling
- Model making technique
- Development of conceptual, formal and morphological drawing

Live Art

The Live Art id the pluralism of contemporary art the only issue is how to classify them ?
